Dear Person You Think You Are

No truer words have been spoken, I have seen so much going on around me hearing so much that it has literally has me sick to my stomach. I'm heart broken that you whom call yourself Christian and preach the word to other and is active church is so far from what God has taught us it is borderline scary. God talks to us as Christians to be there for your fellow man, to raise him up in their time of needs, not to kick them while they are down. I am sick of the hypocrisy of those that preach the Word but only use it to benefit them. You can't use the bible to adapt to the parts of your life, you need to adapt to the whole bible. For it says that it is better to in wholly than to be lukewarm. I am sorry but what you are doing is completely wrong. Stop preaching to others or gossiping about others and take a step back and look at your own life.

Matthew 7:1-5 says "Stop judging, that you may not be judged. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove that splinter from your eye,' while the wooden beam is in your eye? You hypocrite, remove the wooden beam from your eye first; then you will see clearly to remove the splinter from your brother's eye.

You who is without sin are the only ones to judge anyone, and I am willing to bet that you are not without it, because frankly none of us in this world is without sin. There was only one who was and that was Jesus and he died to earn that right. So instead of looking at the misery of other peoples lives and talking about it to anyone and everyone that will listen, just to take the focus off yourself, so that others can't see the flaws in your own life. To you its better to let the dirty laundry of others hang in your front yard, so that the neighbors wont see the stained ratty clothes that you own. You may say that I am mad at you, but I am not i hurt for you because somewhere you have gotten lost from the path that God has led us on to witness to those and help those come to know the power of Jesus Christ.

How does it look from someone from the outside world looking into the window of what a christian really is and they are disappointed by the gossiping, hatred and judgmental person you are reflecting back at them. Do you think that they are going to want what we have if that is the image they are seeing is nothing but what they see everyday of their lives? As Christians we are supposed to set ourselves apart from the world to be better than the negative, to be a positive and a guiding light to the one who can offer the best positive in their lives?

So take a minute and step back and look at what you are doing and what is coming from it? Is it really what God has intended for you to do? Would he be happy and pleased with the path you have chosen?? So start where you are before you go to someone else.
